Diversity Arts Australia is thrilled to support Sweatshop Literacy Movement’s Fresh Off The Books: The Pasifika Australian Literary Initiative! 12 Pasifika writers will each receive a scholarship which includes financial support, ongoing masterclasses and one-on-one mentoring with Australia’s most celebrated Tongan author, Winnie Dunn.
The initiative will result in the first-ever anthology to exclusively centre Australian storytellers from Samoan, Tongan, Fijian, Māori, Hawaiian, Torres Strait Islander and many other South Pacific backgrounds. All Pasifika writers aged 18+ are warmly invited to apply for this transformative opportunity here.
Fresh Off The Books is proudly presented by Sweatshop Literacy Movement and NewSouth Publishing with support from Diversity Arts Australia and Creative Australia
