Diversity Arts Australia is proud to support the release of Love! Sweatshop Literacy Movement is thrilled to announce the release of Love — a mesmerising new collection of stories, poems and essays exploring the ‘beautiful messiness’ of families, friendships, allyships and romantic relationships. As the 15th anthology in Sweatshop’s growing catalogue of ground-breaking books, Love invites readers to wander through dingy streets and pristine sunsets, dive into tormented souls, and reflect on the big, chaotic wonder of the human heart.

Edited by Vietnamese-Australian writer Shirley Le — whose debut novel Funny Ethnics (Affirm Press, 2023) garnered widespread acclaim — this powerful anthology arrives at a time marked by fear, conflict and loss.

“Love connects us all, as human beings, as communities, and as Australians,” Le says. “This anthology seeks to show readers different paths to love and to be loved.”

Featuring 35 writers from First Nations and culturally diverse backgrounds, Love is essential reading for the times.

Proudly supported by Creative Australia, Create NSW, Hunter Writers’ Centre, PYT and DARTS.
