Ashleigh Ho

Ashleigh Ho is a graduate from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she studied stage management. She has a theatre background and has worked with arts organisations such as Pinchgut Opera, Marian Street Theatre for Young People and Checkpoint Theatre (Singapore). She currently works as a Publicity Assistant at Kabuku Public Relations. Ashleigh is passionate about the appropriate representation of CALD, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ people in the media. In the future, she wishes to work as a Publicist that connects CALD, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ creatives with inclusive and diverse journalists. She is also a volunteer with the Story Factory, where she encourages children and young people from migrant and low income backgrounds to share their stories through creative writing. Ashleigh is always looking to expand her skill set and has been studying writing and doing improvisation classes in her spare time. Ashleigh is incredibly grateful to be part of the StoryCasters program as it has introduced her to so many amazing people and she has picked up some very useful camera and editing skills along the way.
