Eileen Chong is a Sydney poet who was born in Singapore of Chinese descent. She is the author of nine books. Her work has been shortlisted for major prizes, including the NSW Premier’s, the Victorian Premier’s, and twice for the Prime Minister’s Literary Award. Her most recent work is A Thousand Crimson Blooms from the University of Queensland Press.
