Ferdous Bahar is a Bengali-Australian Law Graduate and writer from Western Sydney. She is a member of Sweatshop: Western Sydney Literacy Movement and currently working on a series of short stories and poems which highlight the experiences of minorities in the legal system and legal profession. Ferdous is passionate about critical race theory and racial justice and was the first Ethnocultural Officer of the Sydney University Law Society. She is also one of the Sydney office leads in Ashurst’s grassroots multiculturalism network “All at Ashurst” and works closely with Ashurst’s global network on anti-discrimination initiatives within the firm and in the legal profession more broadly.
