Janette Chen is a Chinese-Australian writer from Lidcombe. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Technology Sydney and is a member of Sweatshop: Western Sydney Literacy Movement. In 2019, Janette won the prestigious Deborah Cass Prize for her short story, ‘Wall of Men’. Her work has been published in Sweatshop Women and republished with Mascara Literary Review and SBS Voices.
Janette is a member of the StoryCasters Collective.
