L-FRESH The LION is an ARIA nominated hip hop artist from South West Sydney, Australia. From the same mold as J. Cole and Black Thought from The Roots, his music is grounded in thought-provoking lyricism, providing social commentary from the perspective of an Australian born to migrant parents from Punjab, India. His inspiring live shows have seen him tour with icons including Nas, Talib Kweli and Dead Prez. In 2017, L-FRESH premiered the music video RACI$T / OUR WORLD at New York’s Tribeca TV Festival as part of YouTube’s Creators for Change, opened for Sir Elton John at Sydney’s Brandcast and performed at the United Nations Headquarters.
