Linda Gao is an emerging Chinese-Australian writer based in Sydney. Prior to this, she held Marketing and Sales roles at STUDIOCANAL Australia, Avalon UK and Entertainment One (formerly Hopscotch Films). Linda is a graduate of Commerce and Arts from the University of Sydney and has completed AFTRS courses in screenwriting for film and television. In 2019, Linda was selected as a screenwriter for Diversity Arts Australia’s StoryCasters program. Linda currently works as a freelance food writer and as a note-taker for writers’ rooms, with clients including Lingo Pictures and Aquarius Films.
