Magdalena Moreno

Magdalena Moreno is Executive Director of the International Federation of Arts Councils and Cultural Agencies (IFACCA) in Sydney, NSW. Chilean arts manager Magdalena lived in Melbourne for 20 years, until 2012 when she relocated back to Santiago, Chile to take up the position of Head, International Division and ministerial adviser at the National Council for Culture and the Arts, Government of Chile.

Her previous board appointments include: Board member of the Fundación Imagen de Chile; member of the Public Art Advisory Committee, City of Melbourne and Chair, The South Project. From 2009 to January 2012, she was CEO of Kultour and was on the National Taskforce for the development of the National Cultural Policy 2013-2020, called by the Federal Government of Australia. She has been at IFACCA since July 2014. She served on the board of Fundación Imagen de Chile and oversaw Chile’s participation at the Venice Biennale, and Guadalajara’s major International Bookfair in 2012.
