I am interested in touring my work, can you help?
In an earlier incarnation, Diversity Arts Australia was a touring-arts company, so many artists approach us with ideas for taking a show on the road. Unfortunately, Diversity Arts Australia is no longer involved with touring artists, and we do not provide funding and support for touring as we once did. Our focus is on advocating for an Australian arts sector that represents the true diversity of Australia. We do this via campaigns, creating media content, symposia and developing targeted projects.
If you are seeking support for a tour, we suggest you approach state and territory arts bodies and apply under their touring programs, or check out state and territory multicultural funding opportunities. Examples are listed below. And of course, you can approach some of the key venues who may also have better ideas about how you could be supported to tour your work, for example, BEMAC.
