Diversity Arts is proud to support the Diverse Arts Booster Tasmania project, which recently launched with the first co-design session hosted by the Multicultural Council of Tasmania and Moonah Arts Centre on 30 September 2022. The co-design session gathered culturally and linguistically diverse creatives and artists together to share strategies aimed at overcoming barriers to becoming professionals in the creative sector.

The initial barriers identified in the previous 2021 Stories from the Future workshop held at Moonah Arts Centre, facilitated by Emalia Al-Gadrie for Diversity Arts Australia was a starting point for strategic discussion.

The findings from the co-design session will be key to the development of the project’s future masterclasses, mentorship program, rehearsal and makerspace.

The EOI Applications for the 2022 – 2023 program have recently closed but keep an eye out for future announcements to come!
